Why I'm walking the talk

I am a part of the generation that grew up with technology being shoved down our faces with no safe guards and no parental monetization. 

I watched my peers become extremely depressed and suicidal over social media and in their everyday lives in person. 

I watched them struggle, thinking there was no one they could call just to vent or talk out how they felt. And I even watched as some committed to cutting their lives short. 

I want to walk the talk so that places like lifeline have the money needed to be able to assist those who need it the most. So they can dedicate resources and personnel to help those who struggle with depression and suicidal ideation and self harm.

I'm hoping even the small amount I raise by just walking 80km will help to contribute to the foundation that has saved the lives of people close to me.
